Daytulo privacy

Updated 14 October 2026. Daytulo is operated by Intellingo Ltd.

This policy covers Daytulo, including sync and the assistant connector. Feature availability depends on the version you use.

Before you sign in

Your answers to the welcome questions and the first task you enter for the plan preview are stored and processed on your device. These answers and preview task are not sent to Daytulo’s servers.

Your account

We store your sign-in provider identifier, email address when provided, name, subscription status and usage counters to authenticate you, manage access and prevent misuse. Apple or Google verify their respective sign-ins. Email sign-in links are delivered by Resend.

Your plan and calendars

Stored in your account and on your devices. Available to the assistants you connect. We don't sell your tasks, use them for ads or train models on them. Your calendar stays on your iPhone unless you choose to share busy times.

A copy of your tasks, projects and planning preferences stays on each signed-in device so Daytulo works offline. The account copy is what connected assistants read and change. Signing in restores that account copy onto the device.

Calendar access requires your permission. Daytulo reads calendars you enable and writes events when you use its calendar features. You choose what the account stores:

Busy times are a rolling window of about 15 days. When you first choose calendars, your default calendar and other writable calendars start as “Busy”, so tasks are planned around their timed events. Read-only shared calendars start as “Show”; subscribed, birthday and holiday calendars start as “Off” and their events are not read. Events marked Free, declined events and all-day events do not block time by default; your explicit blocking choices in Daytulo take precedence. You can change each calendar’s setting at any time or revoke calendar permission in iOS Settings.

Assistants

You can connect an assistant such as Claude, ChatGPT, Muse or Grok Bot. The connection uses the address https://mcp.daytulo.com/mcp. You approve it in Daytulo with a code shown in the app, and you choose the scopes: add tasks, read tasks, change tasks, read the plan, see busy times, and, separately, see calendar titles.

An assistant can delete a task only with the change-tasks scope. Deleted tasks go to Recently deleted for 30 days, and you can restore them. You can remove a connection in Rhythm at any time. A new connection sends a notice from Daytulo <contact@daytulo.com>.

Travel time

Travel time is off unless you turn it on. When enabled, Daytulo uses Apple’s Maps and location services to resolve addresses or locations of upcoming events and estimate journey times. Event addresses and journey endpoints are sent directly from your device to Apple. If you also grant location permission, your current location can be used as a journey’s starting point while you use the app. Daytulo does not request background location access.

Daytulo does not send these travel-time addresses, location fixes or route results to its own servers. Its cached locations and journey estimates stay on your device. Apple processes requests under its Maps privacy notice and Location Services privacy notice. You can turn travel time off in Daytulo or revoke location access in iOS Settings at any time.

Reminders, widgets and Siri

With notification permission, Daytulo can schedule a local reminder before your trial ends, and Apple can deliver a silent push when your account changes so this phone can update. Silent pushes contain no task text. You can switch the trial reminder off in the app.

Widgets and Live Activities show task names and times from the copy of your plan on your device. Anyone who can see your Lock Screen may see this information. You can remove widgets or disable Live Activities in iOS Settings.

When you add a task using Siri or Shortcuts, Apple processes your request under its own privacy policy. Daytulo saves the resulting task in your account and on this device.

Smart features and imports

When you request smart estimates or import review, relevant task and project descriptions and planning context are sent through our Convex backend to TypeSafe for processing. Only use these features with information you are comfortable submitting. Imported Todoist data is accessed with your authorisation. You can review an import before adding it to your plan. Short-lived review progress, result identifiers and aggregate usage counters support safe retries and usage limits; task descriptions are not written to diagnostic logs.

Product analytics

Daytulo records how the app is used, such as opening the app, completing onboarding, creating or completing a task, viewing the schedule or paywall, and changing key settings, together with the app version, an anonymous installation identifier and, when you are signed in, your Daytulo account identifier. These events are stored in our Convex backend and used only to understand and improve Daytulo. They never include task titles, notes, calendar content, your name or email address, and are not shared with advertisers.

Email

Resend (EU) sends mail for Daytulo from Daytulo <contact@daytulo.com>, with reply-to contact@daytulo.com. That includes sign-in links, the notice that an assistant was connected, and the two warnings before a lapsed account’s server copy is deleted. Open and click tracking stay off. Message bodies do not include task text. We log the kind of email and whether it was sent, not the address or the body.

Subscriptions

Apple handles payment. RevenueCat validates purchases and manages subscription entitlements using an opaque Daytulo account identifier. We do not receive your card details. The assistant connector is included while a trial or subscription is active, and it stops when that access ends.

Advertising measurement

Advertising measurement is enabled in build 50, subject to the permissions described below. It is not enabled in the initial build 45.

In versions with advertising measurement enabled, Apple’s privacy-preserving attribution system may send an ad network delayed reports about an ad-driven install and milestones such as opening the app, reaching the paywall, starting a trial or becoming a subscriber. These reports do not include your Daytulo account identifier or your task or calendar content.

If you allow tracking through the iOS permission prompt, Daytulo also uses Meta Platforms’ SDK and RevenueCat’s Meta integration to measure which ads lead to app use, trials and subscriptions. Information shared for this purpose includes app activation, a Meta-generated installation identifier, a hashed version of your Daytulo account identifier, device identifiers (including the advertising identifier), IP address, device information, and trial and subscription events. Meta may link this information with information from other apps and websites for advertising measurement. RevenueCat sends trial, purchase and renewal events to Meta, including after the app is closed. Meta’s SDK also processes technical information and crash diagnostics to operate and maintain the integration.

Daytulo starts Meta’s SDK and links device identifiers for this integration only after you allow tracking. RevenueCat’s integration requires tracking authorization before sending App Store subscription events. Declining tracking does not prevent you from using Daytulo or subscribing. We do not send your task text, calendar content, name or email address to Meta through this integration.

You can change your choice in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Daytulo checks permission when it becomes active and before purchase-related measurement; when permission is withdrawn, it stops enabling this measurement and clears the attribution fields it controls in RevenueCat. Withdrawal does not undo data already processed. Meta handles information it has received under its Privacy Policy; you can use Meta’s privacy controls and contact us for privacy requests.

Retention and deletion

The account copy of your tasks is kept while the account exists and the subscription or trial is active. Recently deleted tasks stay for 30 days, then their text is removed. Tombstones that record a deletion stay for 90 days so your other devices can catch up. Calendar busy blocks cover a rolling 15 days.

If the trial or subscription ends, sync and assistants stop. The copy already on your devices stays, and you can export a backup. The account copy is kept for 180 days and then deleted. We email you from contact@daytulo.com 14 days before that deletion, and again 3 days before. Renewing in the app cancels the deletion. You can also delete the account yourself from account settings, including the paywall account menu. That removes the account, the synced plan, assistant connections and push tokens. Copies you saved or shared elsewhere, and events in your calendar accounts, are unaffected. Apple sign-in access is revoked during deletion. Payment records may be retained by Apple and RevenueCat for billing and legal purposes. Account deletion does not cancel an App Store subscription. Manage subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.

Hosted backups follow the retention Convex provides for the project. Confirm the current backup window in the Convex dashboard before relying on it.

Your choices

You can refuse calendar or location access, choose calendar sharing, turn off travel time or trial reminders, disconnect an assistant, delete tasks, export a backup, or request access, correction or deletion of account data. We do not sell your personal information.
